Hi, my name is connor12362626! When will I receive extra money for LCWRA?
We have decided that you have limited capability for work and
work-related activity. Got this today says when you get extra money and from what it says I should and I guess I have been accepted wondering if anyone could help or give any info ?

Hi Connor,
LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from when you handed in your first Fit Note. No money is owed or paid for this waiting period.
A few questions to help correctly advise:
What was the date you handed in your first Fit Note?
Any gaps in providing the Fit Notes?
Your UC assessment period or payment dates.

what do you mean by uc assessment? And do you mean normal pay day from universal credit or the working capability assessment pay day cos I don’t know the second one or if I’m getting money

I don’t know if I am getting paid from the work capability assessment but I should because it says if your single you get it and something else and I qualify for that but just says I don’t need to provide for notes or look for work but nothing about me getting paid

What date do you normally get your current UC payment?

1st every month

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
August/September: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
September/October: AP 1
October/November: AP 2
November/December: AP 3
December/January : Eligible for LCWRA element.
1st February: First LCWRA element paid*
No money is owed in backpay.
*If you have Transitional Protection on the claim, it will reduce by the LCWRA amount.
*If you have Carers Element in your name on the claim, LCWRA will replace this as the same person cannot get both.

I edited my comment as I was a month out.
LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods. No money is paid during that period or subsequently owed.
I don't know the reasons behind the waiting period with no payment, but that's how it works.
