what are my rights as a disabled person regarding dignity when toileting I had a serious stroke and have problems wiping my own bum but my ot has found a suitable wash n dry toilet which would obviously solve my problem as it stands now if I have a poo I have to wait till my carer comes to clean me up my family have disowned me any ADVICE YOU CANE GIVE ALSO REGARDING ENTRY SYSTEMS TO ENSURE I CAN ACCESS MY PROPERTY ON MY OWN TO ALLOW ME TO GET OUT ON MY OWN FRONT DOOR and patio door in to garden thanks clare look forward to your assistance

Hi @pooch,
When you had your OT assessment, did they not look at all the issues with access and entry?
There could be help with aids or adaptations to your home through a Disabled Facilities Grant.
What sort of housing are you living in at the moment?
