Hi Gareth, welcome to Scope's online community!
We have lots of advice and support about a number of benefits here:
https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/benefits/advice
We also have an 'Ask a Benefits Advisor' section here, so you can get some proper, steadfast advice:

I hope that helps!
Sending best wishes to you and your family,

Hi @gareth37,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you here.
As @BeccaShark123 mentions, we have lots of benefits advice available on our website. You may find the Housing Benefit page of particular interest.
I've also moved this to our Ask a Benefits Advisor category, where @BenefitsTrainingCo may be able to offer further advice and support.
If you have any other questions, then please do get in touch.

Hi gareth37,
Housing Benefit is a means-tested benefit so entitlement depends on your income. I cannot do a benefit calculation without knowing how much benefits you receive or how much your wife earns, but there are online calculators which can help. You could always just submit the claim and see what the outcome is. Good luck!
