Any ideas or help? PIP
I started my claim back on April 5th 2023 (coming up to 45 weeks ago), and had my phone assessment on June 28th 2023 (coming up to 33 weeks ago). I had a message saying DWP had received the written report of my assessment on June 28th also, however i haven’t heard anything since. I have tried getting in contact with PIP but each time, i am on hold for hours which stresses me out. I know there is a big backlog, but any ideas or anything?

You started it in April 2023? That’s 22 months ago, or did you mean 2024? Either way, that’s a ridiculous amount of time to be waiting for a decision.
The best time to ring them is always as soon as they open at 9am so my advice would be to try that time tomorrow morning.

Hey sorry, i meant 2024*. My bad. I had got through to them just now and i was told my case has already been assigned to someone, who the case managers will message. They also said they have everything they need. Im not sure what this means though

Everything they need to make a decision. You’ve still waited a very long for a decision! I hope it won’t be too much longer for a decision.
