Received migration letter

I have had a look at a sample UC form before I start my application in 3 months.

Am I correct that until your account is set up I can’t state about additional things?

And from what I have seen I need to put them under payments?

These are the things I need to state:
Non dependent daughter who lives with me who gets enhanced PIP on both elements, so I get no deductions

I get enhanced PIP on both elements

Extra room for carer

I also get SDP with my esa, do I need to state this as I believe I will get something called transitional protection?

Also seen something about a complex needs coach. Anyone used these and what’s the pros and cons? If I do decide to ask for one when and where do I ask?

Thank you for taking the time to read

Once you've applied for UC, you'll have access to the online account called the Journal.

It's the Journal you write those things on, yes Payment is best as that way the messages reach case manager.

You don't need to write about the ESA SDP as ESA will confirm your award with UC.

If your UC award is lower than legacy benefits, then Transitional Protection will be added to your award. This ensures at the time of transfer you aren't worse off than on legacy benefits. TP does erode over time as other elements go up or new elements are added.

Honestly not sure about Complex Needs Coach. Is it related to work commitments?

If you are in ESA SG then you'll have LCWRA (the UC equivalent of ESA Support Group) from the start of your claim automatically, meaning no work commitments.

Citizens Advice have a Help to Claim service, supporting people before, during and after claiming UC if that's what you're after.
