Join Habinteg’s Accessible Homes Week 2026 webinar to hear what our latest UK-wide survey reveals about adaptable housing.
Every year, we run Accessible Homes Week to celebrate what an accessible home can do for a person's wellbeing, independence and overall quality of life.
This year, as part of the week (12 - 16 October) we’ve commissioned a UK-wide survey exploring public attitudes towards accessible and adaptable housing, and we’d love you to join us at a live webinar to discuss the survey’s findings.
Most people will need a home adaptation at some point, whether temporarily due to illness or injury, or permanently as part of ageing or disability. Despite this, most homes are not designed to adapt easily, and could cost tens of thousands of pounds to adapt.
This webinar will reveal UK adults':
- experiences of unsuitable housing
- confidence in their current home meeting their future needs
- concerns about adapting their homes
- priorities for future housing
- level of support for policy change.
