I was diagnosed with diverticular disease last year and soon after that suffered a ruptured colon resulting in sepsis. I managed to avoid surgery but ever since then I have rarely had a day when my stomach/bowels have been what I would call "normal". My pain is always on the right not left and sometimes get the peculiar feeing of what feels like fish swimming to and fro in my lower abdomen.
Does anyone else get this?. Tia.

Hello @greygary
Welcome to the community! Hope you are well today?
I'm so sorry to hear what you went through, I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease and a stoma myself so I remember those days where you wish it all worked at it's "normal".
Have you got a consultant or nurse to run this by? Any pain should be checked out, especially since you have already had a ruptured colon.0 -
