Thank you,so much. I know after covid tensions seem higher,my next door neighbour is in a sorry state but as soon as he moved in he has a real "hate" for my family as he has lost his and it seems the more he drinks the worse he gets. To the extent he has been verbally and nearly physically abusive, tried to get a petition to get us out our house and now I am getting calls asking if my son and husband live with me from the dwp

Welcome to the community @maxy I'm sorry to hear that you're having quite a lot of trouble with your neighbour.
You've mentioned that your neighbour has been verbally and physically abusive. Have you reported this to the police? It's important that you do so. If you're feeling unsafe, and it's an emergency, you should call 999. If it's not an emergency, you should call 101.
Do you feel safe at the moment?
You've also mentioned in your posts that you're feeling really low, and that you've had enough. Are you receiving any support for your mental health at the moment?
You don't need to apologise at all! It sounds like a really unpleasant situation.0 -
Thank you so very much for your replies. Yes both have previously been involved. The council have just been racially abused and told where to go!!!!!!!! The police said because he raised his hand to me and previous history, it would have been different if he had actually hit me!0
