LCWRA should be paid for the first full payment that starts after 3 months from the date you reported the health condition.0

So if I reported that health condition 24 plus months ago when will I be paid from? Thankyou0

In your first comment you said you've been sending fit notes for 3 years. That's a long time to be sending fit notes for.Have you previously had a work capability assessment? Or was this your first one?If it was your first one we can't advise when it's paid from without knowing the answer to the following questions. What date did you first report your health condition? Did you then send a fit note within 7 days of this and continue to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on the work capability assessment? Finally, what date do you usually receive your money each month?0

It’s my first assessment Yes I handed sick notes in with no gaps for 2 years plus. my sick notes lasted 2 months at a time sometimes 3 months depending the only gap which I’m aware of is when I was told during covid I didn’t need to hand one in but even had them backdated to catch when it went back to normal0

So you must have reported it before Dec 2021 if you were sending fit notes before this.I’m sorry but no one can possibly help without all the correct information.0

I get you i think poppy sorry I first reported a health condition 4 an half years ago iv handed in continuous sick notes after going back an forth from the docs 4 years tho I never had a problem always been accepted about two years ago my mobility got a lot worse so added that to it an now I’m waiting for operations I was only ever called in a few times to see them an I kind of ignored the health assessment form which prompted them to do an over the phone appointment with a gp which I asked for 4 months ago that was I know when my first payment is but I want to know do you get any back pay from the 3 to 4 years of sick notes iv handed in as iv been out of work a while an it’s been a real struggle? Or do you just get payment each month with no back pay what so ever? It’s very confusing0
-
Can anyone try explain if they get what I mean tho because it ver very confusing for me.0

The first payment will be 3 full assessment periods from when you first reported your health condition, providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that. You haven't said what date you first reported it. First you said it was 3 years ago and now you say it was 4.5 years ago. That's a very long time to wait for a work capability assessment. Are you sure that a decision wasn't made previously to the current decision? It's impossible to tell you when it's paid from without knowing the dates to the question i keep asking. You can look back on your journal and it should give you the dates.0

Yes so for 3 of those years i ignored the health assessment as I wanted a gp to look over me so I wasn’t put into any category because the job centre was having me jump thru hoops but I’d handed in valid sick notes which lasted 3 months at a time an win every sanction placed on me which fund refund but the 23rd of dec 2021 I reported a health change about my mobility with continuous sick notes I still have my doctor issue them still now incase on the 4th of nov 22 tho I was adwarded lwrca payment but not sure if I just get the payment or back pay also hopefully that makes more sense0

It’s says il be paid my first payment on the 3rd an I usually get paid in the 9th every month0

Carterjan12 said:Yes so for 3 of those years i ignored the health assessmentWhat do you mean you ignored it? Were you found fit for work at all during that time?I know you reported a change in Dec 2021 but that's not what i'm asking. I'm asking what date did you first report your health condition?I can't help you without knowing all of the details.0
