Hello, I am a single woman, just now getting my pension  :).
I had a stroke 18 months ago and have limited mobility.  I use a mobility scooter to get to the shops.
I have booked a week's holiday in Kos and will he hiring a mobility scooter there, rather than take my own.  My concern is that the hire company offers no insurance for theft, damage, personal liability or injury.  I can't find sny travel insurance to cover any of these.  Does anyone have any suggestions>

Hi @SheilaP welcome To scopes forum.  I would of thought the hire company have their own insurance policy. It might be worth looking at different companies to compare. Enjoy your holiday in Kos

    Hello @SheilaP

Ooo very nice :) Have you been to Kos before? That is very strange, for the company to not have their own insurance. I did have a google but was unable to find anything with another travel insurance provider. Just to ask, do the company you are hiring the mobility scooter from have an excess policy for the rental?

Also if you are staying in a hotel, do they have any recommendations on their website?

Hi, the company is Kos Mobility Hire.  Only after I booked it and paid my deposit did they send the terms and conditions, which state that I am responsible for any loss, damage etc.
I've been before, in 2019, before my stroke so have booked an accessible apartment in Mastichari.

Oh very nice, somewhere familiar but I bet you still have a list of things you'd like to do? :)

That's not fair, for you to find out after you've booked it. If I see anything to do with cover / holiday insurance for it, I'll let you know :)

I can hear how it's becoming a headache @SheilaP. Is there anything, in particular, that might help it to be more manageable for you at the moment?  :)
