@WelshBlue, All hail the mighty Alice, we are not worthy, also saw Vixen at MK Bowl in the 80s with Bon Jovi, Europe, and Skid Row, Vixen where a very under rated band, but they rocked, Brilliant memories of the 80s when Hair Metal ruled the waves thanks to MTV.1

@Wilshyboy ... some top bands mentioned there. Skid Row were very good live.
I was a new romantic who went to Heavy Metal gigs .. risky at times lol

My hope for future of music fans was restored this morning. Waiting to go in for my bloods, this was playing (a bit loudly) and a lil' girl of about 4 was really rocking out in the next car ... her mum asked me to play it again for her

Big respect for you, the little girl and her mum, Have you seen their official video version of Dear Prudence, its one of the very few covers that is better than the original. The 80s was a brilliant decade for music Punk,Goth, Hair Metal(my fave) Even Disco, My taste was wide and varied and still is at 65. There,s still some Rock in this old dog yet!!1

@life ... The Outfield what a pleasant blast from the past. Thanks
Patti LaBelle cool too ... I enjoy old style R & B ... listened to some Ruby Turner albums yesterday.
Great for the soul
@Wilshyboy ... thanks. I enjoy my punk. In fact all music really. Alexa gets confused when I go from opera to punk to country to lovers rock etc etc. The Platters - great band
If there's rock still in the old dog - Happy Days. Currently going from modern Indie bands - PaleWaves just awesome, to way out Melanie Martinez
The 80's ... less said about my time there the better
Woke up this morning to the sad news a friend had taken his own life. It's still not sunk in.
No outward signs anything was wrong. 3 beautiful kids and a great wife. Tragic
This is for him. Cysgu yn dawel hen ffrindhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upM1_sq-Wxg&ab_channel=HalcyonMusic

That is very sad news @WelshBlue thinking of you, and I'm sure you know the community is here for you
If you or your friend's family need any help and support, it might be worth contacting Cruse or The Good Grief Trust, even if it's just for a chat.1 -

Many many thanks for your kind words. Shock for us as friends, total disbelief for his family.
