I have just received the “You have been awarded PIP” text from the DWP I was just wondering if anybody knows how long it will take for me to be paid now ?

Once payment is sent it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank. You can ring PIP to ask what you've been awarded and when to expect payment into your bank and they will tell you.

I had my assessment on the 6th of January 2023 but I originally applied 28 January 2022 so it’s taken over a year just to get to this point so I am relieved to say the least lol

I’m trying again now 😅. I’m studying Ancient Greek and Rome. It was just for leisure. Not sure I’m going to carry on though, difficult atm with a flare and life stress x

It’s hard isn’t it. Thank you. I was so close to deferring but have decided to try as much as I can. Just found how the length of award this morning too. I got 3 years! So surprised!
