Hello I’ve been awarded carers allowance but have not got the backdated payment just the weekly payment will I get it backdate please

    If there’s money owed you will receive it. You should receive a decision letter with all the details. If you can’t wait for that then you will need to ring carers allowance to ask. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    Thank you so I got the weekly normal payment but not the backdated money will that come separately please

    Yes separately. Although i would expect money owed to be paid before the regular payments but because you're being paid weekly then it could be different. If you want to know for sure then as i advised you'll either need to wait for the letter or ring them.
