UC PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED

I would say it's unlikely you will receive it tomorrow. If you haven't already then put a message on your journal under the payment section and tell them you haven't received your money.

Yeah I have just will have to wait for a response they said my money had been released Tuesday and my payment had been made manual instead of automatic for some reason0

No I have not had a reason I am on LCWRA to so I don’t think they can just stop my money0
-
Hopefully you'll get an answer as to why on Monday 🤞0
-
They won't just stop your claim but if you receive any earnings above your work allowance this will reduce your UC by 55%. Does either yourself or a partner (if any) work? Have you looked at your statement? It will tell you what elements you're entitled to, any deductions and what you should receive in your bank. (if anything)

Yeah looked at statement and no I don’t have a partner due pay was 629 and was due to be payed on the third I’ll just hang fire until Monday0
-
How are you feeling about "hang[ing] fire" until tomorrow @jimmyb994? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to support you, even if that's just listening0

My UC was due on the 3rd and not in yet if it's more than 1 maybe an error in some way or the system didn't recognise it being a leap year on Friday and day it would've gone in as smart as computers are they programmed by Humans and maybe didn't program in a leap year lol0

Have you put a message onto your journal? If not then you should do that and make sure it's under the payment section.0 -
I was due today. Nothing. Hoping in tom as got lots of payments due out otherwise I will ask for a fast payment with handover team.
How can they screw up like this?🥲0 -

it is bank holiday Monday. I know I am due a payment on the 28th it’s always been that way. I am on LCWRA but neither that or my child benefit is showing in my bank. I have left a note on my journal I am just wondering if anyone else has had this. Can clearly see my anxiety as look at the time. But I have no idea why.

For the UC payment have you looked at this months statement to see if there's any money due this month? If you haven't, please check.
For child benefit you will need to contact them and not UC. Telephone:
0300 200 3100

yeah I struggle on the phone due to anxiety so I’ll just leave that part and yes always check when statement is generated. Doubt it’s even a holiday and I’ve been confused and thought it was. So my own doing. Thanks though. Just have zero until then. But I appreciate the help.

You are correct, Monday isn't a bank holiday so payment will be on Monday as normal. Apologies, I didn't spot that earlier when I replied. I should have waited to respond after I had my first morning cuppa. 😑
Do you have someone that you can borrow some money from? If not, do you have enough of food and electric/gas (if on prepayment meters) to last until Monday? If not then there are food banks you can access with a referral.

I have nobody. It’s me and my two year old that’s it. On Google it showed it was a holiday. It didn’t just explain Ireland though. And I’ve stayed up refreshed all my bank for nothing. I genuinely just feel a complete let down to my little girl. There’s no food banks near me and lack of transport too. But thanks

There's a list of all bank holidays for England, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland here.
I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this way. Times are very difficult and cost of living is so high. As there's lack of transport in your area you can contact a food bank in your area and ask them for help. Someone maybe able to deliver a food package to you. There's some information here.
Do you also have access to Facebook? If so can you put a post on there asking for some help? There's some very kind people out there and hopefully someone will be able to help you. This is just a suggestion and I'm just trying to think of ways to help you so please don't think you have to do that.

Hi @lennx94, Sorry to hear things are so stressful. Poppy has given some great links so far, hopefully there's something there to help you get by for the weekend. We've sent you an email so please look out for that today 😊
