Treated like a criminal

Am I right in thinking that a Pip tribunal is like a judge responding to a person who has committed a crime . I have seen something online which suggests this .

Not at all . A tribunal is not a trial you have done nothing wrong

A tribunal is quite informal and the judge will do their best to put you at ease.  The panel is totally independent of dwp and its your chance to explain why you think you should be awarded the benefit by going through how your condition affects you
