Hi can anyone tell me if they have received a texted to say they have been unsuccessful and then received the letter would you only be notified by texted if you are successful I have just phoned pip and they have made a decision today but not on there system just yet takes a while they said but haven’t received a texted message but the letter has been posted out today thanks

They don't send text if unsuccessful

You can edit it up to an hour after posting go to the post and click on the cog by your name edit and push save comment 

But don't worry about it no harm

You only usually receive a text if you are successful but not everyone receives one even if they are, my hubby got awarded but received a phonecall instead, although that depends on how much backpay is owed. Some people only know if they have been awarded when they get the letter
