Hi,

I returned to work after being on esa and PIP for 3 years I still receive PIP and now disability working tax credits I never received Server disability premiums my entire time off work. they wrote to me months ago asking me to complete forms to see if I was entitled turns out I was and they need to back pay me I returned all forms in October and was told to await a decision its now mid March and I've not a decision how much longer could this take? I've nearly been back in work for a year next month and still not heard anything unless I call them to chase?

It shouldn't take that long. All you can do is ring ESA to ask for an update. If you still don't get any joy then i'd advise you to contact your local MP and tell them everything. They will contact DWP on your behalf.

Could they of decided I'm no longer entitled as I've been of benefits for this long? I don't understand why they keep saying I'm owed it but its with the decision maker surely if I'm owed it the decision is pay me?

If you're entitled to it then you'll receive it. Did you ring them to ask? Only they can tell you what exactly is happening.

How frustrating @teetee23. Is there anything, in particular, that might help with the wait? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to help  :)
