Hi does anyone have an email for the PIP tribunal? I’ve been waiting on a date since October and I just want to see if there is an update . I can’t phone due to anxiety so would prefer an email address. I’ve been without PIP since they stopped it last August it’s so stressful
Thanks

Hello @DD91 I'm afraid I don't think there's an email you can use, I'm sorry it's been such a long wait. Is there anyone who can call on your behalf, and you can sit with them?

    hi
Unfortunately I’m in the same boat and started my tribunal appeal in October 2022 and still waiting to hear . Rang them 15 minutes ago and the lady told me I’m still on the list waiting for the hearing and the waiting time is 25 weeks ! When I have been told by another representative it was 20 weeks . So working it out I’m looking at the end of April I hope !! Sorry your waiting as well ( I was told there is a massive back log of appeals as well )
Thank you can I ask where you live? I’m in Scotland I wonder if that’s the wait time for all the uk

All areas will have different waiting times. You can contact HMCTS to ask what the approx waiting time is for your area and they will tell you but please remember it's only a guide.

I have heard the back log from COVID-19 is big and they need to get through that

@durhamjaide2001 they still did tribunals during civid and wait times then were reduced as they went to phone hearings

The wait seems to have increased since then due to dwp catching up on claims which are resulting in more appeals

Personally I can only see it getting worse as I think the recent white paper will  cause people to panic and apply for pip so they can keep the lcwra if they proposals go ahead

Yes. LCWRA is part of UC and nothing to do with PIP. PIP isn’t means tested so doesn’t affect any benefits in a bad way.

I can’t phone due to anxiety that’s why I sent an email they replied in April saying it was with the judge just waiting on a date so I thought it would be soon
