I have just received  carers allowance for my freinds daughter . I have been caring for her since last year . I m receiving universal credit and have to pay the bedroom tax .I  know use this bedroom to care for Jamie * a few nights a week and wonder does this qualify me for this deduction to be stopped? Thanks

Unfortunately, no not if the daughter doesn't live with you.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
