LCWRA and part time work

hello Scope Community just found this site by chance. please can anyone give me any help i am  in the lcwra group and have been offered part time work but i am worried as to how many hours i can work and whether it will mean i will loose my money and be worse off by returning to part time work. is there still a limited number of hours you can do. any help will be greatly appreciated thank you

    LCWRA is part of UC and there's no maximum amount of hours you can work. If you do start working you'll need to "report a change of circumstances" then tell them you're working.
    You will have the work allowance which means that a certain amount of earnings received each month will be ignored before any deductions apply. If you claim for help with the rent the work allowance will be £379/month, if you don't it will be £631/month. Anything over this will reduce your UC by 55%.
    Please also be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you were found to have LCWRA then it can go against you at your next review.
