Access to work - what can I claim?
So starting my own T-shirt business and applying for access to work.
I know I can apply for help from an ADHD coach and equipment like a table / chair for my spinal problems.
was wondering if I could apply for an iPad though? Reason being is it’s already got good dictation software built in as I struggle to write due to my hand and various problems.
it would save money instead of having to buy separate software and a microphone etc and also be able to make things easier for me on my hands etc as I can use touch screens a lot easier than traditional keyboards

Hello @markf87
Congratulations on starting your own business! you'll have to keep us up to date with how it's going
Scope has a page on the Access To Work Grant Scheme and it says:What Access to Work can fund depends on your needs for the job. It might fund:I would ask about whether the iPad for the better dictation software would also come under their specialist software.- specialist software, such as screen readers
- a support worker, such as a driver or job coach
- mental health support, such as counselling
- training or mentoring
- adapted equipment, such as chairs and desks
