Hi I must say I have been impressed by the speed of my first pip claim.
21st February form sent.
6th April phone assessment
6th April DWP text saying report received
21st April text saying they have not made a decision
27th April text to say I have been awarded.
Just over 9 weeks from beginning to end.

I got standard daily living but would have got enhanced if I didn’t drive. Overall I am happy with the decision.

    Hi @ElleMae

Thank you for that timeline! It's good to hear from someone who is pleased with the process and outcome, and it sounds like you were lucky in it being completed so quickly.

I hope the additional money helps make life a little easier for you  :)

I've seen this mentioned before and people refused totally because they drive - some seem to get Enhanced if they drive - I do.  The DM even asked me if my car is manual or automatic ... is manual

Is it down to the discretion of the DM ( a lottery) or am I interpreting the descriptors all wrong as to why I got it ?

Congratulations on your award, you can relax now and enjoy
