I was having the exact same thought about my gp. What do they know about daily struggles. I don't see my gp. I have a psychiatrist and my other issues I've been told by the gp you have to learn to live with it when I have been to them, it's not very often I get a face to face it's normally a call back. I've stopped calling the gp for help because I usually get none anyway

They are very rarely contacted anyway. If you don't want them to be contacted then don't put the details of your GP surgery on the form.

If they're as incompetent as one of my previous GP's they won't even fill in the form...  Ended up having to go through a full face to face ESA assessment at the job centre after months of hassle.  Wouldn't be able to travel there now so no idea what would happen if the same thing happened again.  (I know ESA reviews are currently suspended).

Not much you can do about it now.  Just something to deal with if it does happen.  Worst case scenario you have to go through another assessment or appeal a decision.
