Hi there

I had my review on the 23rd of march. Haven’t had any letters yet but I rang the enquiry line today and it said that my new amount is 544.4 . I used to get enhanced for both.

I don’t know if this new amount is my new rate or a combination of my new and old rate ?

Couldn’t someone help please, thanks in advance

Have you had the decision on your review yet? That amount suggests a decrease in your award because Enhanced for both parts even for the old rate is more than that, as you know.

No I’ve not had a decision , my next payment is due in 10 days so I don’t know if that’s my new rate ? How does it work if the award goes down?

It will depend on when the decision was made. You'll either need to wait for the decision letter or ring them in the morning to ask if a decision's been made.

I reckon it’s gone down to only standard daily living.

So is it possible that if the decision was made today it would be made up of 18 days of my old rate and then 10 days worth of the new rate ?

I'm afraid i have no idea how they work out the payments if your award has decreased. You will need to do as i advised, or wait for the decision letter.
