Hi everyone I was just looking online as iv been on ESA for about 2 years now and this looked a very helpful website,  I’m just waiting on the phone atm as my ESA wasn’t paid on Friday the 28th of April, I will post in the right section when I find out why :)

Hello there @markwilliams1234 and welcome, thanks for reaching out :) To help our members find your query I've moved it over into our ESA category and changed the title.

Did you manage to get through on the phone in the end? I wonder if it's anything to do with the bank holiday, although that was after the date you've mentioned.

Hi I was wondering if anyone could me please. I’m sorry to bother anyone but i think Iv had my late payment go into my account but it’s for a odd amount and I’m scared to ring them because they might think I’m being rude. As in ringing them and wasting their time 🐌 I’m really sorry to have to ask this but I don’t have anyone else to ask who will understand before I ring …thanks

Is it for a slightly higher amount than usual? If so it will be the annual benefit's change of rates.

yes that’s right it’s  for a extra £32 but what’s confusing me is it says JSA and I’m on ESA?  It’s ok I’m going to ring them now and double check. thanks 😊

The JSA next to the payment will be because it's a manual payment, rather than a BACS payment. Your next payment should have EESA next to ut as normal. The extra £32 will be because of the 10.1% increase.
