Hi I wondered if anyone could help. I was granted LCWRA which means I get a bit more money. However it appears that as I am getting this money UC are paying less rent this month. Can this be right

The amount included as a housing element to help with your rent would not be affected by having LCWRA added.0

Hello @Aarajake1 and a warm welcome to the community.
As calcotti correctly mentioned, your housing element should not be impacted by receiving LCWRA.
On the housing element section of your award, does it have and explanation of the reduction? Is the amount before deductions the same as it was last month?0 -
The deduction is the same, but the amount they are paying to the council is different to last month0

The title of your thread mentions ESA. Are you also claiming New style ESA as well as UC? If so then your ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement, is this why you're getting confused?
