Hi I am due 14 months backpay for under payment of disabled child element in uc.I pay 130 a month off a tax credit over payment through uc so I am wondering will they take the backpay to pay off what I owe tax credits

Yes, they can take any money you owe from the money they owe you.

Thanks for the reply I thought they might do that but with it being for my sons disability I wasn't to sure 😒0
