hi, my pips have increased with the cost of living inflation in April. I have been told my universal credits will increase in my June payment, as my assessment was on 10/04/2023 two months later. I understood that the increase would be in April the new financial year. I have asked UC for an explanation, but was not given one and was just told that it was correct—any advice lovely peeps? Thanks. Paul.

UC is paid 1 month in arrears. The increase starts from assessment periods that start from 10th April, which the first increase being seen from 16th May.I don't understand what you mean by this.
What date do you usually receive your money each month?claybus said:my assessment was on 10/04/2023 two months later.1 -
Thank you - my payments are on the 14th of each month - I think I have missed the deadline for two days. Paul0

That means your assessment periods are 8th to 7th of every month. Therefore you won't see any increase until your June payment onwards.
