Hi everyone
so as some may know applied for pip on 11/3/22 and was refused, won my tribunal on the 19/4/23
received a call from pip on the 10/5/23 asking bank details, hospital, prison etc but no back payment as yet (but not anxious yet) I then received a txt from DWP on the 11/5/23 confirming they have awarded me pip and a letter has been sent (no letter yet either)
but my query, I rang pip this morning to see if I had the automated line, I did and the message was that I’ll receive my pip payment on 7 June. Is that right if my claim date was 11th ?
thanks

The date you claimed hasn’t nothing to do with your payment dates. PIP is paid every 4 weeks in arrears so the payment date will always be different. If your payment is due on 7th June this means your payment day will always be a Wednesday. The automated payment line doesn’t give any details of the money they owe you.1

Thank you @poppy123456 that makes sense, and you are right the pip line didn’t give details of money owed
