Dla renewal

Hi everyone Iv applied to get my sons Dla renewed but was just wandering if anyone got a decision before they’re current one ended and how long in between was it ? Iv got 4 weeks until current one ends so just wanted an idea really when they let you know about the renewal! Iv spoken to them and they said they had now passed it on to the decision maker.

I've heard decisions are currently taking anything up to about 16 weeks for DLA. I have no idea if the current DLA claim will continue until a decision is made on the renewal. If you don't hear anything in the next few weeks then ring them again to ask.
