Hi I’m new here but I need some help. I was awarded the LCWRA and was paid the backdated payments from January 2021 through till June 2022.
I was paid this back in April however I’m unsure if I was going to paid extra monies every month going forward and/or if this would be added to my universal payment or paid separately. I’m getting a tad confused and brains frazzled.

I think backdated payments are usually separate from your award payments @Angels5, so once all the back payments are paid separately, it'll just be your LCWRA award amount. Is that what you meant, or am I getting confused too?

The LCWRA element is part of UC and will be paid in with your usual UC payment. It will increase your maximum UC entitlement by £390.06/month.0

I’ve already had all of my backdated payments back in April, it’s just that I received my normal UC payment today but the LCWRA payment wasn’t tagged along with it 😩Alex_Scope said:I think backdated payments are usually separate from your award payments @Angels5, so once all the back payments are paid separately, it'll just be your LCWRA award amount. I see @Angels5 , thanks for explaining, and I'm sorry to hear this. It might be best to put a query on your journal about it and see what they say for the time being.0

Yes, put a message onto your journal under the payment section and tell them that your LCWRA element wasn't included in your statement this month.
