Contributions based ESA and occupation sick pay

Hello! I went into terminal stage of kidney failure and after 28 weeks my SSP run out. 1 of my employers sent me a form which I filled out them applied for ESA through charity. I was awarded it.
I still remained employed with both employers but not receiving any salary. 1 employer paid me recently some accrued holiday pay. Another one out of good will is paying me occupational sick pay.
ESA sent me a letter claiming this is salary and that I am working and didn’t notify them. I am not working clearly and now I am panicking as the letter is very scary!
What should I do? Am I in trouble? I didn’t know I had to tell them about the holiday pay and the occupational sick pay as I thought it doesn’t affect the claim as it is a contributions based ESA!
Which evidence should I send to them?
thank you ! I am sick with stress and it is making me worse physically

Hello @PomPom. A warm welcome to Scope's forum from me. Sorry to see no one has been able to respond to you yet. It sounds like you are having a really difficult time at the moment, especially with your health and concerns about ESA.

With ESA, you should have left your jobs and not been officially 'employed' still. However, if you have evidence from your employers regarding what they paid and why, you could provide this as evidence.

Would anything help to reduce your stress at the moment / does anything usually help you when you are feeling stressed? We are here for you if you would like to talk to us more about this  :)
