hi my name is Kayleigh and I'm 33 with signs of ADHD but my doctor wont give me an assessment. I've asked so many times for it to be done but he isn't listening to me. I feel like I'm going insane with it. I want to know why I'm like this

Hello @Kaykay12
Welcome to the community!
I'm so sorry you are not getting anywhere with your doctor. Can I ask, does your GP Practice have other doctors under it that you could go see for a second opinion?0 -
Hey @kaykay12. Do you have interactions with any other professionals at the moment - such as a psychiatrist? You can also access private assessments for ADHD - which many do, due to the waiting times on the NHS even once accepted. However, I hear this is quite a costly route, unfortunately0
