Aids for washing up/doing dishes

Hi all, just a quick one. My partner has CP and he only has full use of one hand. He can use his other hand as support but not for gripping and the like as his fingers are stiff and unreliable. I was looking for two things, something to hold a dish as he is washing them - something that would grip it maybe while he uses his hand to wash them - and also a glass/bottle brush that is fixed or can be attached to the worktop. I have seen a few of the bottle brushes but not many with decent reviews.

Has anyone got any advice or have experience with these types of aids? Thank you so much.

Hi there @UnseenGhost, I know Active Hands has an online shop that might be worth a browse! I use the one touch tin opener myself, and it's amazing! There's quite a few useful gadgets :)

I a living with paralysis. I washes my dishes by hand. I placed a dish drainer in my sink to hold the dishes so I can conveniently wash them. I have double sink so one for rinsing and the other for stabilizing awhile I’m washing them. And I use one to place the dishes awhile I dry them and put them up roperly

There are some really interesting new sink designs that have glass washing areas- you put the glass over a spout thing and it forces water up into the glass. I feel like I need a picture or a link in case you havent seen them… https://www.amazon.co.uk/unctional-Waterfall-Dispenser-Functions/ (this doesnt have great reviews but you getthe idea). Temu has this, but I have no idea if its any good https://www.temu.com/
