Hi, 
My daughter has received DLA since being 1 she is now 5 1/2 I didn’t receive the renewal letter as we moved address. I had to make a new claim on the 14/03/2023 I sent the letter out the same day & they received it on the 20/03/2023. I got a text on Monday saying ‘we are still looking at your DLA1 child claim.’ Does anyone know how long after this they received a decision? I’m not sure how long that we wait it’s been about 9 1/2 weeks so not sure how much longer or what to expect. 

Any advice Is appreciated. Thankyou so much

Decisions for DLA are currently taking up to about 16 weeks, sometimes longer.
