Hi, so sorry for the message, really confused with this lcwra stuff.... i was awarded the LCWRA element in MAY 2023 just there.. i just checked back on my U.C account and the first fit note i handed in was in AUGUST 2022. Could anyone please helped .. will i be entitled to any backdated money ? it said in the letter on my journal that if iam due any backdated money they will contact me again but ive been checking my journal and theres nothing on it so far.

Your first payment will be either Dec or Jan. The exact date will depend on what date exactly you reported your health conditon/sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.

This is assuming you sent a fit note the whole time without any gaps.
