Hi
Hoping someone could help with a few queries regarding pip. I completed my health form assessment approximately 8 weeks ago. I heard today that my phone assessment will be on the 19th June. How long after the phone assessment will you have a decision? Also various sites state that if you are awarded pip they will pay from the date of the claim - is the date of the claim following you submitting your pip health form or from when you originally telephoned pip to say you wished to apply they then ask questions and then send a form . I telephoned in January 23 and the whole process has taken 6 month so far - up to being given telephone assessment date.
Thankyou

Is the start of the claim when you make the first phone call to say you want to claim or when you send your assessment form in1

If it's in Audit there are no timescales how long it will remain there. The report will not be returned to DWP until the audit has been completed. Once the report is returned a decision can take up to about 12 weeks.

I had my assessment recently, had the text next day to day they had the report, the text stated I will get an outcome between 2-8 weeks. I think 12 weeks is worst case scenario.0

They tell everyone up to 8 weeks. In reality it's up to 12. Some have a decision in a couple of weeks, some several and others as long as 12 weeks.
