Evacuation chair for under 5s

Hi, We are a nursery looking for an evacuation chair/equipment for use with a child under 5. We haven't found anything that is suitable yet. It seems there are no evac chairs for children. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions about safe evacuation from the first floor of a building with a non-mobile child, who will be distressed with the alarm going off. Our recent fire drill has highlighted our need to find a safe solution. Scooping the child up and moving down the fire escape proved to be risky, not least because the child is getting heavier. Any ideas would be great. Many thanks

@fmc Hello and welcome, it's great to have you here and you sound like a wonderfully responsible provider. I hope we can help you get this sorted.
My first thought is would you be able to liaise with anyone in procurement at your local authority or the Health and Safety Executive to find out their preferred evacuation chair?
Whilst, I'm unsure if this would be suitable? Not advertising, just found whilst searching
Please let us know how you get on and good luck.0 -
Good morning @fmc. I spoke with one of my colleagues and he has suggested these two links for you to look at and mentions that the Evac chairs can be selected by weight of the user.

Evacuation Chairs and Training - Evac Chair, AirChair, CarryLite (safelincs.co.uk)
I hope you manage to find something suitable.
