Carers Allowance Time frame

Afternoon 

just wandering if anyone’s apples for Carers Allowance recently and what the time frame has been please.  I’ve read approx 6 weeks but just curious

Anything up to 12 weeks. Is the person claiming carers allowance claiming any other benefits? If so, which ones? 

Is the person they are claiming carers allowance for claiming a severe disability premium in another benefit?

No the person claiming caters isn’t in receipt of any other benefits and I’m only claiming Pip no other benefits
