⛩️▫️i want to work yet i find it really hard as i have no use of my dominant hand ▫️my right hand
⛩️▫️I have found an employment agency that is covered by the Sunflower Langard Scheme.
⛩️▫️I have been told i can not PIP because I can use my left hand
⛩️▫️I'm not left handed I'm right handed and this is my dominant hand which I can not use because I have a Neurological disability which I cannot use my right hand at all
⛩️▫️Please can anyone help me as i have no use of my right hand now and I struggle at home because I can't use my right arm
⛩️▫️i have to wait 49 weeks to have a MRI scan ▫️EMG scan and have a EGG scan too
⛩️▫️i would be grateful if someone could help me as it feels I'm getting nowhere with it
⛩️▫️i can function in many situations but not with my right hand
⛩️▫️it's funny we take it for granted when we can use your dominant hand all the time ▫️ yet when we have no control of your dominant hand you suffer

i have no use of my dominant hand and have to learn to use my left hand✨️which I find very difficult to use✨️especially when it's not my dominant hand ✨️I've been referred to see a neurologist about my right arm✨️
what I'm asking is what jobs is there for me when I cannot use my dominant hand✨️
I've had a disability for thirty years and have worked full time with my disability✨️
The problem I have now is I have no use of my dominant hand✨️yet i want to work still
According to DWP i have use of my left hand which is not my dominant hand so I can work
sorry I looked with amazement I am not left handed but I can work✨️ i am right handed but now suffer with my right-hand side of my body and I've never had to use my left-hand0 -
@ksenia89bf Morning, and thank you for your post sharing your story. How is your Friday going?
I'm sorry to hear not having the use of your dominant hand is causing so many challenges. When you say you, "can not PIP because I can use my left hand" - do you mean you've been told you can't apply for PIP because you can use your other hand? Do you personally think your condition would score you enough points to get an award?
Do you manage to do things okay at home? And do you have support of friends and family? I wonder if you could speak with your GP about the impact this is having on you, and if there would be any way of your MRI being expedited?
I'm sorry, there's a barrage of questions there to answer(!) but I hear your frustration. I hope there can be progress for you soon.1 -
Also just to let you know, I've merged another thread of yours with this one so we can keep all replies in one space to make it easier to track1

Hi,
Sorry to hear your struggling, I would advice you get some help to fill in a pip form, also you can ask your doctors for expedited, let you doctors know that your struggling daily, i struggle with my mobility, I use crutches every day to get me around, i was told the same, that it will take nearly a year to see a Neurologist, I have an appointment next week to see an neurologist, a month later, your doctors can put it in as an urgent request and can request an MRI scan sooner.
Let us know how you get on.
Good luck with everything!

Thank you, hopefully you get the bottom of it soon, I understand where your coming from.
I've always worked, unfortunately a few years ago after I had my son, I started experiencing numbness and pains in my whole body and now I cant walk at all, without crutches, I used to work full-time in mental health on the ward, now I am mostly housebound, I hope neurologist has an answers for losing my ability to walk.
It's good to hear your doctors really supportive, hopefully you get the answers you are looking for.
Take care.
