Pip & the benifit cap

Does anyone know how to get the benefit cap lifted after being awarded pip and of so do they back pay you from start of pip claim thanks ?

I note from another thread that you're claiming UC. If you have been awarded PIP you will need to tell UC and then the benefits cap will be lifted.

Morning i got my award text today can I contact UC to lift benefit cap now or do I need to wait for my award letter ?0
