3-5 working days so around Wednesday next week, a letter will follow explaining your award and future payments so no need to phone.0

Hello, I thought I'd message in here instead of creating a new thread since it's similar. (I think) Does everyone receive a text when they are about to receive payment? Or can it just go in? (I won at a tribunal hearing on the 5th of this month and was just wondering)0

I won mine on the 6th of this month and still waiting to hear anything from them .
They do have a chance to asked for a statement of reasons from the tribunal ( I will have worded this wrong so apologies )
it can take 4 weeks maybe more to hear anything from them and they will ring and ask security questions eg have you been aboard / hospital / care home etc in the last year .
I rang for a update on mine on Monday of this week ( been nearly three weeks ) and it still was waiting to be dealt with .
again apologies I may have worded some of this wrong .
some people get a text some don’t unfortunately and letters I’ve heard nothing as yet with mine0 -

You will not receive a text when your money goes into your bank. It can take up to 8 weeks to receive any money owed and the same time to put your award into payment.

Okay, thank you both; I rang up on Tuesday to ask for an update for mine because last time, they gave a rough idea of what week they were working on, sadly when I rang up, it was a different person who just said, "we currently on average 4 weeks behind" so it is just a waiting game. Such fun. Thanks, both0

It is ! When you think you have got somewhere then more waiting ! I fully understand they are very busy and having to go through the process it doesn’t help you though when your wondering what’s going on !
people in here are brilliant and offer really good advice and give you a reality check when you need one !0 -
At least, once awarded, it is a good wait, not a very anxious one.Although, I was assessed on a Friday, text for received report on the following Monday & text awarded on the Tuesday, backpay went in on the Friday. So, thankfully, my wait for all that really wasn't one.0
