PIP assessment

I have just had my PIP telephone assessment. I am very poorly with severe chronic fatigue and have had complex mental health problems.
The nurse who took my assessment was lovely and very professional. Overall I came away feeling stressed and anxious by the process. I know I have a very low quality of life but I didn’t feel the questions I was asked really related to my severe chronic fatigue . I feel like I have wasted my time.
It puts me off appealing if my claim was turned down. I hope this system improves in the future.

Glad to hear the assessor was lovely. You won't be the first person to think that the questions they ask aren't relevant but they are. They are trying to gather more information about how your conditions affect you.Once the assessment report is returned to DWP a decision can take up to about 12 weeks. Try to focus on something else while you wait.1
