I have a friend who is currently receiving standard rate care and standard rate mobility however there has been a deterioration their mobility since the original award such as the addition seizures and diabetes. They are asking if they can ask for review on just the mobility component of PIP as I cannot find much information online to advise them.

If they report changes they will be sent more forms to fill in and return with all their supporting evidence. They will likely need another assessment because most people have them. They will look at the whole award again and not just part of it.A change of health condition doesn't automatically entitle you to more points for a higher award. Once the decision is made their award could either remain the same, be increased, decreased or stop completely.I totally agree with woodbine that she should get some expert advice before doing anything else.0
