Daughter leaving full time education

Hi
My daughter is leaving full time education in July, she will then start University in September.
I am confused as to when UC child element and Child Benefit will stop for her and if it happens automatically or if I gave to inform UC/ChB of the change.
My daughter is 19, she will be 20 on 1st September
From what have managed to find on the Internet. It seems that ChB will continue until 31st August and UC may be the same but that's more unclear in the information I've managed to find.
I can find nothing for either of them on if/when I need to inform them both.
Can anyone help to clarify please
Thanks x

It will be 31st August for CB. For UC then it will depend on the dates of your assessment periods. Or what date you usually receive your money each month. You will need to inform UC.You won't need to inform CB because it will stop on the day before her 20th birthday anyway.0

Thank you Poppy,
My assessment period is 14th to 13th of each month and payment date is 20th0 -
That means that 20th August will be your last child element for her.

Thinking about it, child element for her will automatically stop anyway because of her age.

Thanks Poppy,
does that mean that I don't need to inform UC and the last payment including child element will be 20th Aug.
Just want to make sure I've interpreted what you've written correctly
