Hi I was just wondering if anyone can help me in when I get my first lcwra payment? My first fit not was uploaded on 30th march, I get paid my universal credit on the 6th of every month. On the 28th june 2023 I received an attached file on my journal saying I had been awarded lcwra.

That means your waiting period will be March to June. LCWRA starts from assessment period 30th June to 29th July and first payment will be 6th August. No LCWRA element is owed.

Thank you for your help I was just confused with the 3 months thing as 3 months from the 30th of march the 3rd would be 30th of june, so does that mean I will get 1 payment or 2 just so I can budget ahead, I like to budget0

The reason you won't receive it until 6th August is because UC is paid 1 month in arrears. Payment starts from the June/July assessment period and then you'll receive payment at the end of that period. You will continue to receive it each month going forward.
