Waiting times vary considerably depending on the area you live and the backlogs. It can be anything from a few months to several months, sometimes longer.

Most assessments are by telephone, some are still face to face and video call. Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.

When claiming UC you're classed as a job seeker until a decision is made on your WCA. It's a work coaches discretion to either turn off or reduce commiments. Some do and some don't.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.

I would tick 50 metres and put an explaination in the box and then use extra sheets of paper. Do not tick "it varies."
Do also be aware that the mobilising descriptor also takes into consideration your ability to use a self propel wheelchair so you will need to make sure you cover that area too, if you're unable to use one.
