Hi, i have a disability car but sometimes i cannot use it due to the pain. This restricts me to going to appointments. I read somewhere and i cannot remember where that there is a scheme that can pay for so many driving hours for a carer, i would like to know if anyone knows anything about this.
My daughter does not receives carers allowance but she does help to care for me, and it would be a huge help, if she could get a driving licence and drive me when i am in pain
does anyone know anything about this scheme

I've never heard of funding for driving lessons for carers. The only funding i know of is through motability but this only applies to motability customers that have a provisional license. It doesn't apply to carers of those customers.

I'm afraid I've not been able to find anything about this @happyfella. Have you been able to find anything more about the scheme?0
