    Should i include FitNotes?

    Thank you

No, PIP isn't about your ability to work so fit notes are not needed and not classed as evidence. Fit notes will be for your UC claim.

I'd advise you to have a read of this before you apply. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria It will help give you a better understanding of the PIP descriptors.

When you fill out the form you should give a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. You should aim for at least half and A4 side of paper per descriptor that applies to you.

Remember this is your chance to tell them exactly how your conditions affect you. You do not need to tell them your life story. Keep it straight to the point. The biggest mistake a lot of people make is not including enough of information on the form.

    Good evening,

Does the form want you to write in capitals?

    Kind Regards

I've filled any of the forms in this way, so no you don't need to do this.

Yes, you can do that. Make sure you put your name and NI number on everything you send.

    Question 10 Reading

I have a Astigmatism and short-sighted and have to wear my glasses always as i can’t read or see without them, would you say this question apply’s to me as i am not sure.

    Kind regards

I wouldn't have thought so as with the 'reading' descriptor it's whether you have difficulty with this either unaided, or wearing glasses/contact lenses.

Same as me but i wouldn't expect myself to score any points for that descriptor because your glasses corrects your vision, same as mine. With my glasses i can see perfectly.

    Good afternoon,

    Q9 Talking, Listening and Understanding.

There was an incident at a GP surgery one that i had never been to and i had a screaming fit at the Doctor due to anxiety, distress and them not understanding me.

Would it come under this heading.

    Thank you
