Hi, my name is Minister! Will I lose my LCWRA for working 35 hours a week?

I have been offered work 35 hours work by a company but today i have receive my LCWRA . can i do 16 hours Will that make me lose my LCWRA. i have problem to do full hours . sitting alone will make me bored and get obese . what can i do please advice. I dont want to lose my benefit

There’s no maximum amount of hours you can work while claiming LCWRA.You have the work allowance which means you can receive a certain amount of earnings each month before the 55% deductions apply.
If you claim for help with the rent it will be £379/month, if you don’t it will be £631/month.
Once you start working you need to report a change of circumstances and tell them you’re working.Whether there’s any entitlement to UC while you work will depend on your circumstances. If there is still entitlement then you do need to be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you’re claiming LCWRA then it can go against you when you’re next reviewed.0
